I thought Puffy's Vote Or Die project was non-partisan
Edited on Thu Oct-28-04 10:07 AM by rocknation

Hip Hop mogul Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs, second from right, leads a crowd during a campaign rally in Philadelphia, Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, for Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites), of Massachusetts...

If he wants to host his own rallies, fine. But he shouldn't be doing official campaign stops unless he's officially endorsed the candidate. On the other hands, he's intelligent enough to realize that having his audience ducking bullets in Iran or Syria as early as next spring would be real bad for business!

1. Not from him
I think someone else is using it for Bush as well.

How that makes sense, I don't know...

'Vote Or Die' and Combs made appearances at both conventions.
Perhaps he's done Bush* campaign stops, too. I think VOD is intended to be non-partisan, and if he's not doing both (or at least offering -- Bush* probably would decline the offer), you have a point.

2. I'm seeing it all over Harlem
there's definitely an inner city flair to it.

3. Since I'm interpreting VOTE OR DIE to be about the draft
I cannot believe he would endorse anyone but Kerry.

4. my hope is the message is getting through and all the young
new registrants will come out and vote. Living outside the mainstream makes standing in line for long periods of time for 'voting' may not be all that appealing and so if the concerts have enough sincere civic responsibility lessons to get these citizens to the polls then GOD BLESS US ALL and we will GET OUR COUNTRY BACK!
