I see this everyday. I'm currently in London doing a study abroad semester (I voted already, at home in Missouri, in-person absentee before I left).

Almost every person I talk to brings up the election and asks the same question: "what does anyone in America see in Bush?"

I met this guy at a bar and we got to talking about the election and he was realy upset/passionate about it. I knew how much it meant to *ME* but I had no idea how much it meant to the rest of the world (I mean importance, not just how pissed off they are).

He said something which really made me think. He said "I can't understand how anyone in the States doesn't vote. We all wish we were able to vote because of how much it effects us, and so many American's have that chance and don't use it".

It got me thinking about the whole world voting for the leader of the "free world". It almost isn't fair that America has so much, I guess you would call it power (for lack of a better word), over people who don't have any choice in the matter, ya know?
