Kerry Madison, WI rally could be a 'record breaker' for state
Madison officials are bracing for crowds of between 40,000 and 60,000 people today to see Sen. John Kerry and rock star Bruce Springsteen as the hotly contested presidential election races to the finish line. Coming just days before Election Day, todays downtown rally ffeaturing Kerry, Springsteen and Foo Fighters lead vocalist Dave Grohl could be the largest political gathering ever in Wisconsin...

3. I'm less than a mile away
and unfortunately cannot go this great rally as I work in at a hospital and have mandatory meetings today. But lots of people I work with are going up there and the crowd is huge. As I was walking to work today hundreds of people were already waiting for the gates to open.

5. over 50,000 came
to the Portland, OR waterfront park earlier this year and that was without the Boss. The same weekend, bushco spoke before a couple thousand carefully screened, loyalty oath-signing sycophants in a tightly controlled venue on the campus of a private college.
