mostly because you can click on a state and see ALL of the polls for that state so it's very easy to see when a poll is an outlier. Nowchannel.com is very similar to realclearpolitics.com but with a Democratic (instead of a Republica) slant.

The problem with that site is that the current map reflects whatever the most recent poll says, no matter which poll it is. Since the polls don't agree the current map jumps around alot. Look at his final projected map and click on a state to see the trend lines (along with the poll results jumping around all over the place) and it makes more sense (final predicted map has Kerry winning BTW :) )

5. Yea, he just used the most recent poll for that state regardless
Actually, this map shows Kerry with more EC's than yesterday when Bush was leading because while he had Michigan for Kerry he was showing Ohio leaning Shrub. (I think it was Ohio). Anyway, it bounces around quite a bit day to day.
