When I see video that may bring down the B/C denials on the missing explosives, I am relieved. When I see emails sent erroneously to georgewbush.org that outline voter suppression plans, I am relieved.

No, we can't trust the mainstream media to do it, but we can certainly do it ourselves. Even though I am a new poster to DU, I think we are all a part of an information revolution!

What we CAN do, individually, is the same thing that Rupert Murdoch spends millions doing each year. That is, target enough of our own media on a particular topic that the "mainstream" is forced to at least mention it, lest they appear to be biased and, in truth, the sorry collection of bought-sold-and-paid-for hacks that they are.

The best thing you can do, personally, locally, is tell your friends about the story. Tell your family. Write a Letter To The Editor (LTTE) of your local papers asking WHY no one has seen the footage and the photos (if they do not surface in the mainstream by the end of the day).
