My take - It is the right time and probably overdue. Let Bush continue with his shrill, scary message while Kerry waxes on about the possibilities for tomorrow.
Cedar Rapids, Ia. - Democrat John Kerry, campaigning Wednesday in Cedar Rapids, turned sharply from the bruising attacks on President Bush's conduct of the military occupation of Iraq and instead offered a hopeful appeal to independents and Republicans with just six days until the election.
"I want you to go out and talk to the independents. I want you to talk to the undecided. I want you to reach out and convert someone on the other side with common sense," Kerry told more than 8,500 supporters at the US Cellular Center.
"This is the journey of a lifetime in which we have this tiny moment that God gives us to be able to make a difference."
