Edwards responds to Giuliani blaming the troops
Giuliani is THE most overrated politician. Nowhere near as popular as the whores give him credit for. Especially now.

http://releases.usnewswire.com/GetRelease.asp?id=39082

DULUTH, Minn., Oct. 28 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Senator John Edwards issued the following statement today about George Bush's chief surrogates blaming the troops for missing explosives in Iraq:

"Today, George Bush sent his chief surrogate, Rudy Giuliani, out to defend the president's incompetence. And Giuliani blamed the troops. He said they didn't do their jobs. The Republicans couldn't be more wrong.

"Our men and women in uniform did their jobs. It's our commander-in-chief, George Bush, who didn't do his.

"If George Bush is going to have his friends out there blaming the troops, then he needs to back up his claims with evidence. Mr. President, show America the order that you issued for our troops to secure these dangerous explosives. Show us the order that your friends accuse our troops of ignoring.

"George Bush refuses to step up and take responsibility -- and now it's time for him to step aside."

This morning, Giuliani said, "The actual responsibility for it really would be for the troops that were there. Did they search carefully enough? Didn't they search carefully enough?"

14. Ghoul is right
I'm so glad that damned ghoul is no longer our mayor.

Can somebody please shine some sunlight on him and drive him back into his crypt?

put up or shut up. Rudy's going to be asked this question the rest of his life. Why did you choose the Worst President Ever over American soldiers?

5. I never thought to tie this back directly to Bush
interesting way to look at it, and absolutely fatal to Bush if the charge holds.

and with this administration, that's an endless task.

8. So glad he got ON it immediately. It shouldn't go unrebuked.
The nerve of that snuffling, self-promoting, silly, cheap little man, after all.

Blaming the underpaid, abused, beleaguered troops doesn't make a lot of sense, does it? They are taking 100% of the risks, with 100% of the insults coming to them from the Republicans, not war protestors who would like to see them returned safely home.

Smelly little Rudy. So glad Edwards swatted him.

9. Edwards needs to say this to TV public -- not just a written statement.

10. Giuliani would have had NO POLITICAL CAREER
except for 9/11. He was washed up in politics having announced his love affair with Judy, who is now his wife, while he was still married to Donna Hanover. She found out about her upcoming divorce on TV the same way the rest of us did. He is a nasty piece of work. Don't be surprised at anything he says.

12. Whatever happened to "the buck stops here"?
Does anyone see the irony that Bush this week cited Truman as one of his favorite Presidents? This is the "dog ate my homework" President.

15. Nailed the prick
Rudy: Bald-headed errand boy. Whatever qualities he might have had were sucked out by the evil vortex known as the Bush Family.

16. the actual responsibility for it would be for the people who
'organized' this clusterfuck. Were there enough troops on the ground to accomplish their mission of defeating the enemy, as well as securing ammo dumps and searching for WMD?

Not by a hundred thousand.
