7. There's a wonderful picture of Kerry in our paper today

I've been looking on the "internets" for it, but I haven't been able to find it. It shows Kerry from a side view from about waist up with a dark background with 4 bright round spots of light. And around him is a circle edged with a rainbow of colors, with 3 fainter ones of these behind him. It's really beautiful and eerie to boot. At first glance, Kerry is barely visible. This is the second picture I've seen of Kerry that appears to have a halo around him. :-)

Has anyone else seen this picture? It has knightridder/tribune under it. I wanted to share it with DU'ers in case you haven't seen it.

I bet West Wash looked like the Mall in DC for a march on Washington. Do you know how many blocks this covered? I have to say, as a former resident of Madison, this is absolutely awesome. I so wanted to be there but I just have too much to do here.

Madison is a beautiful place. I used to go through there every Christmas on my way home (ND) from Illinois. Been there other times, too, and wanted to live there.

I almost threw the TV out the window when the idiots on MSNBC said "how many of those people are actually there to see Kerry and not just Bruce Springsteen?" Augh!
