the town of my birth. :-) How could I be anything but a liberal? I was glad to see the right leaning Milwaukee Journal Sentinel endorse Kerry. I smell victory in WI.

I'd live there if I could...cool town, great college, lots of brewpubs, lots of cows...
I could go on and on.
Kerry will carry WI

I was half born and raised there (heh). The other half was born somewhere else.
Was raised on polka music. The only place where it is totally alive and flourishing. Any other polka lovers, Wisconsin?

9. My annual drive through Wisconsin |
|
On my way to deer camp in the U.P., I always search the radio dial for polka stations. There's still a few of them out there.

10. I use to play in a semiprofessional "Big Band" in highschool |
|
in WI. We would play Ellington, Basie and so on at weddings, but after the first Polka we played we would have to play them all night long. Fun to dance to, but boring to play (on the trumpet anyway). :-)

12. There are a lot more than a few of them. |

Wisconsin is saturated with polka lovers. A lot of the radio stations can only get their signal out for a short distance though. My brother has a nationally known bar in Milwaukee. He's even been on Good Morning America, NPR, written up in NY Times.
