It reminds me of the scene in The Simpsons where Superintendent Chalmers comes to Springfield Elementary and objects to the big sign welcoming him that Principal Skinner had hung. When he sees that Chalmers doesn't like it, Skinner quickly says, "It was the children's idea. I was against it."
