100,000 Civilian Deaths In Iraq
Tens of thousands of Iraqis have been killed in violence since the U.S.-led invasion last year, American public health experts have calculated in a report that estimates there were 100,000 "excess deaths" in 18 months.

Remember Rumsfeld bragging about how great and precise they were? The entire Bush Admin should be put in jail.

They're trying desperately to suppress this casualty count.

3. 'excess deaths'?
So these deaths are on top of the already high pre-invasion mortality rate in Iraq?

12. I've wondered about that
The sanctions against Iraq are stopped. But what consequences has this had on the mortality?

"The rise in the death rate was mainly due to violence and much of it was caused by U.S. air strikes on towns and cities." Kerry should talk about this - this is a very effective way of creating more terror against the US.

5. Possible Poll Question?
I wonder what the response would be to the question

"Given that 100,000 Iraqi civilians have died, was the war worth it?"

I bet you, at least 40% would say yes. With that stupid "Better over there than here".

11. I read the article and I just don't see this figure as being accurate

That would be on par with WWII bombing, which was far more indiscriminate than now.
I need proof to believe numbers like these. These articles are sketchy

This also was not a scientific study, and could be way out of whack with the majority of the country.
Most groups had a 20-30,000 figure that seemed more likely to me.
