Nader needs a timeout
Even if you agree, as I do, with some of Nader's fundamental criticisms of the system, his capricious behavior in the last two elections has destroyed any chance of rallying people to his cause. He's a spoiler plain and simple. Nice work Ralph, you will never get a dem vote again.

2. Naderite at AlterNet bashes DU for dissing Saint Ralph
According to a Richard Griffin: "I was amazed by the insane posts on DU this morning in regards to Nader - so irrational and very much in line with the way I hear Bush supporters speak and think. This has bothered me so much, and has made me lose a whole lot of respect for Democrats....I regard Nader as an american hero, and the things he is saying during this election cycle are a breath of fresh air."

5. Hey Rich, we're trying to save our lives here
If Ralph truly cared about this country, and not just about his own political aspirations, he would help Kerry or get out of the way.

3. What you think of Nader...
Edited on Thu Oct-28-04 04:25 PM by DireStrike
Depends what you think of Bush.

Me, I think that anybody who thinks its more important to use the WRONG APPROACH to just TRY to add some rudimentary reform to a system, that will sidetrack efforts from removing this brutal dictator is just very stupid.

It's good that he stands up for his ideas. If only he could have some better ones.

4. As soon as I saw Nader
rationalizing the fact that the overwhelming majority of his money is coming from republicans, it was game over. "Republicans vote too" he says. "Republicans want more choices" he says. He's not motivated to be a spoiler, he is motivated by cash. He can play that crusader line, but now he is all about playing the system for cash. Otherwise he wouldn't be taking republican money to run his campaign and line his pockets.
