I just returned from voting in Houston TX
Long lines....

I didn't mind the eSlate machine much...but I didn't like the feeling of trusting the screen when it said "Your Vote Has Been Processed"

I WOULD LIKE A RECEIPT WITH THAT!

1. I live in
Spring and we are still in the stone age on paper ballots. The lines are long for early voting so I am going to wait.

3. not every problem requires a technological solution
Paper ballots have advantages that computers just can't match. The only downside is slow counting. If it takes being in the stone age to have a fair election, so be it.

6. Scantrons don't take that long to count the votes.

4. I am in Houston also and will vote tomorrow
I do not mind the e-slate machines but I do not trust them. We need a paper trail.
