A military friend of mine told me that John Kerry has not visited a single military base on his campaign. Is this true?
If not, can someone please post a link or some other info to prove my friend wrong?

1. It's illegal for troops to criticize the commander-in-chief, and |
|
applauding criticism of him would come close.
Maybe that's why.

we went to the Kerry rally in Pueblo, CO on Saturday, Oct. 23rd. He cheered for Kerry and he's active duty military. He wasn't in uniform so maybe that makes a difference. LOL

3. no he hasn't that I know of |
|
he talked to some Nat'l Guard in Nevada (I think). I don't know that Kerry would be allowed to campaign on post. Although Bush has. We can't have K/E signs or B/C signs here in the housing areas. Some people do have bumperstickers on their cars.

|
and the Republicans had a shit fit because he was campaigning on federal property, like the poster above said. You can now ask your military friend what he thinks of Mr. Honesty manipulating the law like that. And on taxpayer money.

7. Hello, and welcome freebird04 |
|
Would you like for me to find the regulation that prohibits that activity?
Now, ask your friend, "How many times has Bush visited the troops in Iraq without a fake turkey?" "How many times has Bush attended the funeral of a fallen soldier?" "How many times has Barbara Bush been willing to, how did she say it, 'clutter her beautiful mind' with the casualty count since it was irrelevant."
Ask your friend those questions.

10. You're not allowed to campaign on a military base. Nobody is. |
|
*'s visits are not called campaign trips either. He is the the commander of the military (Ugh!) and goes there to inspect and bolster their morale. Not to campaign. That would be highly unethical.
