5. Great news!
Now hopefully K/E will stop spending valuable time in the midwest and go on the offensive in Red States.

8. Ohio is the key to our victory this year.
That and maintaining our winning ways in MN, IA, WI, and MI.
I think Kerry is doing everything right.

Both showing Kerry soldifying himself here. Sure one of them showed Bush gaining a bit, but he's hitting his ceiling in this state - which is 46-47. He won't even get 48. I'm starting to get even more suspicious of Zogby's state polls.

BTW can you get a link for them both?

10. I have been lurking
I just wanted to join in since all of these polls are driving me crazy as well. I would have liked for MI MN and PA to be totally off the map by now. If we are to believe the media and the 10 battlegrounds, we are defending 7. I would like to think new polls in MO, AR and WV show a true closing in those states as well. I am just slightly worried that we have to defend more than we are taking and of course we know we have to take at least one medium sized state and retain all the old ones.

two big states though - OH and FL.

MI is very unlikely to go to Bush at this point. The same goes with PA. I don't think we need to worry too much about these states.

IA, MN, and WI were all very close last time so it's not surprising that they are still very close.
