Shit's hitting the fan for *. |
|
The video of * giving the finger. The FBI investigating Halliburton contracts. And now the 377 tons of explosives raided from Al Qaqaa. Now the question is, how long will this continue, and how long until Rove (The Bastard) starts giving the memos to all the media organisations filled with the spin and lies??? And even worse, will they try to spin it around for *, or even worse, try to dig up some dirt on Kerry???
What do you think will happen???

Thursday was the last effective day for breaking news, and it was filled with Bush Bungles. Friday is traditionally the day the White House buries inconvenient stories, so any spin on Thursday's news is lost until Monday. By then, it's seeped into people's minds without any rebuttal.
Halloween weekend is bad time to try to start any political momentum on new issues because it's filled with fun family activities and kids getting excited about costumes, and everyone getting sick from eating too much candy.
Monday presents a VERY brief window to release news, but without any chance to develop it. How many people can you reach as they drift home from work and watch the evening news?
So, if the Bush camp has a final trick to play, it's going to have to be a VERY LOUD one. I don't doubt they'll try something, perhaps something truly dramatic. But, with the way their luck has been running lately, anything that really shakes people up could also backfire and there wouldn't be any chance to recover.
