When should Kerry go to Iraq?
Right after the election?
At Christmas?
After he is inaugurated?

I think a Christmas trip would be the best thing. And he can bring real turkeys. Not that plastic thing Bush brought.

3. Christmas would be good, but I doubt if the Secret Service will let him
go

and he probably shouldn't take any chances

5. After his international conference...
...in which he reminds people what ACTUAL diplomacy looks like and secures some real international support for the mess there.

7. Week after the innaugeration.
A couple of days to get settled, start things going, quick trip to Iraq, then talk to allies (Nato) to drum up support...

First words out of Kerry's mouth when he returns from Iraq (Prediction)
"It's worse than we said it was."

8. It would be a great move to cancel inaugral parties while our troops are
in harms way in Iraq. We should not celebrate our election until they can "celebrate" theirs.
