I don't watch Faux but I found this over on FR.

"Larry Sabato says the polls-both public and private internal polls-shows Kerry winning Ohio!?"

1. This is why Bush is so desperate to win two of three in
WI, MN, and IA. That may be his only chance left.

18. If Bunnypants' chances hinge on
taking 2 of those 3, he IS toast. No way he gets MN or IA, WI I believe will not abandon its Dem roots.

10. My favorite post in that thread was where the freeptard said
"look at the blue on the coasts -- those people are making decisions for the rest of the country."

Last time I checked, electoral votes were awarded on the basis of state population. I've also always heard that red states are overrepresented, because their electoral votes end up pulling more weight than their popular percentage.

Second, what the fuck do they think they're doing when they're trying to get inside my uterus, shove me into domestic slavery, make me worship at the altar of McDonald's and starve poor children? Christ almitty. What next -- what happens when the red states make us all wear tapestried teddy-bear vests and buy Thomas Kinkade paintings?

The radical right is trying to make law for "the rest of us," but apparently THAT'S not a problem.

Forty-nine percent of the population did not sign up for this archaic retarded bullshit -- which is why you govern from the center. Too bad Bush blew his chance and wanted to install the new-style GOP Big Brother of Shifting Realities and Moral Relativism -- and raid the treasury, turn the world against us and actually ENDANGER our people with his RECKLESS and CHILDISH foreign policy.

I'm gonna laugh that dumbass and the rest of his ponies straight into the cell block, when Kerry is president.

14. You are correct on electoral accounting...an electoral vote in Wyoming
represents approximately 20,000 people...an electoral vote in California (even though we GET more electoral votes) represents 60,000 people...too bad for the freeper that the states where people actually live and the states that PAY AMERICAS BILLS (and probably pave the roads in his state) get a little bit of a say

15. One way to deal with that - popular vote. But you're right, that's were
the people are. Most of the red states consist of a big field.

11. Sabato is pro GOP, but always looks out for his own reputation first.
He'll influence for GOP up to a point, and then he kicks in with the truth when he has no other option...he cares for his career and reputation in the long run.

16. You nailed it.
Sabato will tout the GOP line whenever he is discussing abstractions. When dealing with factual information he tries to tell it straight. I always take anything he says with that in mind.

20. Sabato does slant somewhat right, but his website has good info
http://www.centerforpolitics.org/crystalball/

Especially if you look at the left side and click on "governor" or "senate" or whatever interests you. He has a rundown on every race (top 30 house races) with the most recent update first. Most useful strategy is to choose "view all races" after you pick among the presidential, governor, senate or house. That gives it to you all in one scroll.
