Last time I checked, electoral votes were awarded on the basis of state population. I've also always heard that red states are overrepresented, because their electoral votes end up pulling more weight than their popular percentage.

Most useful strategy is to choose "view all races" after you pick among the presidential, governor, senate or house. That gives it to you all in one scroll.
