I am pissed off at the RNC
In two days I have received SEVEN pieces of bullshit Anti-Kerry propaganda. SEVEN PIECES. This goes along with the three pieces last week and two pieces the week before.

It sucks being in a battleground state.

1. This'll make you feel better
You'd think being in TX the repukes wouldn't even bother, right? Solid red state, right?

I have received SEVEN recorded Laura bush messages on my answering machine in FIVE days and TWO messages from some outfit called Victory in Texas, based out of Austin, urging me to vote straight repuke.

Well, um, I've never voted republican in my life and don't plan on starting and I've already voted.

Think their internal polls are showing some softness in TX for them to bother?

2. Austin airwaves are nauseating.
Every commercial break seems to bring another attack ad. It's all very annoying. Made it very hard to watch the World Series.

4. Laura AND George have been on my machine
And I have about 1.5 billion dollars worth of campaign material from BOTH sides on my kitchen table

Not too mention the many other agencies that are calling and polling our house...Central Ohio and I came home to more than 15 messages on my machine from every area code you can think of.

Swing state fatigue!

3. I stopped getting the calls and mail here in Maine 2 days ago.
Does that mean they've given up on us? *g*

5. I'm a registered independent in NH, a swing state. Not one piece
of mail, not one call, not piece of lit dropped. Is that odd or what.
