Bush is getting killed in the futures market
www.tradesports.com

HUGE volume today. Either people are arbitraging with another exchange or somebody is selling the hell out of BC04. Either way, it's good news.

6. Once upon a time, anything west of
Washington DC was "west", and anything south of it was "The South".

That also explains why the Gateway to the West is in St. Louis. ;)

8. the Midwest
Something to do with the pioneer days when Ohio was part of Connecticut (Western Reserve). I don't think they knew how much more there was to the west so this became the Midwest.

And I could be talking out of my arse.

5. Where I gamble Bush has come way down but still leads
http://www.wsex.com/frames/main.html

He was @65 now down to 55. I hadn't checked it in a long time. If I knew the election was going to be a fair one I would bet my house on Kerry...he is @49 would be a nice pay-out for that one...better than 2-1.

9. arbitrage? what is that? I'm assuming the difference between
selling and buying...if so its 4

Buy - Sell
*ush 55 - 51
Kerry 49 - 45

I'm more in to betting on sports playing parlays, straight bets, teasers, ect.

11. Right
Arbitrage is a risk free bet taking advantage of an inefficiency in a market (or between markets).

10. Good but it means nothing..
These sites simply tend to follow the latest news, they add nothing because people's opinion are based on those news...
