Break from Presidential Numbers: Any predictions on House & Senate?
How will they break down? I am at a loss, although I can say the senate is up for grabs. I would love to hear some peoples' numbers.

1. Indiana will prob lose a house seat to a repug.
In southern Indiana Barron Hill is democratic incumbent, a GOP light democrat but is up against Mike Sodrel a jerk who owns a trucking firm the GOP has been pouring money into his campaign he ran and lost a close one to Hill last time, I think this time he will win. Cheney came to drum up moeny for him early this year.

We wont lose are 'Democratic' senator seat of Evan Bayh if you want to call him Democratic but he still counts on paper.

3. House will stay under Repuke control
but I have hopes Richard Morrison will defeat "cockroach" Delay.

As for the Senate, last I read on Daily Koz sounds like it is going to be VERY close.

We will pick up Illinois for certain, also have a good shot at picking up Colorado and Alaska. Oklahoma possible pick up as well. NC and SC seem less likely now.

Dashshle in very tight race but will probably win.

I thought a few weeks ago we could take over the Senate. Less sure of that today.

And we cant afford to lose any seats.

4. Southern prediction
for Senate:

AR-Blanche Lincoln (Even the AR Dem-Gazette, the right wing rag, has endorsed her for Senate)

They also wrote a stupid opinion piece saying Blanche would be the ONLY Dem elected from the South, and so would gain prominence in the Senate. They counted only 3 other Southern Dems in the Senate, conveniently forgetting our junior senator, Pryor, who is a Dem.
