from noted now: http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/NotedNow/story?id=156246PENTAGON REACTION FROM SPOKESMAN LARRY DiRITA: "We know there were other units in the area who acknowledged finding explosives. It's not at all clear what's in the photos indicate. Some Explosive Ordinance Destruction units have a recollection that some high explosives in the area were taken out of there."Can anyone figure out what the hell he is saying?

Is basically what they're saying.
They're saying that there were "other units in the area" who found explosives, but the pictures are unclear on which area of Al-QaQaa these explosives were in.
Uh, I think.

First it was "They were removed by Saddam before the war"
Then it was "The Russians removed them before the war"
Then it was "Besides there was only 3 tons of the stuff found in the last IAEA inspection"
Then it was "See, here are a couple of trucks, which we admit are not outside the actual bunkers in question, but it proves there was some activity in the complex before the war"
Then it was "Of course we can't blame the president for this, it was the soldiers fault!"
Now it is "Ok, so there WAS some explosives in the complex after the war, and those explosives are now missing, but some EOD units recall taking some explosives out of that area for disposal - what? What do you mean why didn't we say that to begin with? Cause we only just made it up! Duh!!"
