Come on.
Let the kids have their Halloween.
A little self-control at this point in our gorgeous game is called for.

4. This election is so emotional already, |
|
it seems a little bit provacative without much upside.
Think anybodys parent is going to change their mind or show up and vote because of it?
You might get some kids dad who wants to kick your ass "for brainwashing his kid" etc.

First looking at it from a completely removed cold logic point of view, if it even reached a parent trying to decide and on the precipice of trying to decide who to vote for or whether they should get off their ass on November 2nd for Kerry, this type of thing would push them away from where we want them.
Secondly, I want this election as much as anyone, but there has to be an end line. There has to be things that are still just fun and unifying. Halloween and kids should be two of them! Kathy

9. No. The kids cannot vote, so the literature is worthless. |

It will do nothing but piss parents off -- that their kids are getting political propaganda in their Halloween candy.
Will definitely be more of a hindrance than a help to the Kerry campaign.
Tell your PCs to get some sleep and ponder the problem in the morning ... they'll make the sane decision. We're all getting a little punchy, and we start hallucinating that putting Kerry lit in with the Snickers and the Milky Ways will be just the most fabulous thing.
No. Wrong.
