Has anyone been watching the 24 hr ABC News network

Kerry is on now from Columbus and they showed the entire rally this morning in Madison.

I forget about them but I've been making more of an effort to check in with them when I have the tube on.

There seems to be less of the loud pundit syndrome going on here and more real news reporting. Check your cable listings-They haven't been promoting at all.

They're not news shows - they're hired chimp acts, and they're not worth watching.

3. It's good to have options

I too will be watching C-Span on Tuesday night-But C Span has not shown the Kerry rallys in real time today- This channel has.

I think that's a step in the right direction.

5. Yes, I found it by channel surfing

It's been on for a few months at least. It's on 114 on my line-up stuck between some HD channels.

It's called ABC News Now

4. I'm Watching In Chicago

I have had World News Now on regularly these days...they also showed the complete Madison rally this afternoon (too bad they also had Sam Donaldson on, too..)

This channel is a breath of fresh air...mostly straight up reporting by a crew of young upstarts who aren't worried about their "Q" ratings.

The network is a great alternative and I strongly suggest anyone who can get a HDTV set or just a card for your puter, it's available without cable in most places...and well worth it.

I'm watching Senator Kerry in Columbus right now...any idea of the crowd size?

Regarding the HD stuff. I don't have HD tv nor do I have a card. It's stuck between some HD channels but I don't think they actually broadcast in HD at least not here in PNW

I like their news broadcast better than the others. I'll have to check tonight to see if I have it.

There has been absolutely no promotion any where for it.
