Bush surrogates are up there saying things like "the evidence points in the direction of the weapons not being there when the troops got there" and offer up things like a couple of trucks in the area as proof.

This is RIDICULOUS. Our people need to learn to argue. Lemme tell ya, if I was taking on one of these guys there'd be nothing left of his wiggle room when I was finished with him.

Our people need to get on the ball. Even Sharpton sucked on Larry King.

23. I've had that reaction before, but...

I think they're doing well to let this drag out over several days. The more the administration trys to spin it, the more we can get entire news days devoted to showing where they're wrong.

There's a difference between debating and trying to win over voters - I think sometimes the points they don't make can be deliberate, either to save them for later, to let the bad guys dig themselves a deeper hole, or to avoid the risk of saying anything that can be twisted out of context to distract from the issue.

We're a lot better off than we would be if the video with the seals came out right away for example - they tried to say the material was gone before the invasion, then the video came out refuting it. Now they have to explain blaming Russia based on absolutely nothing, while criticizing Kerry for "jumping to conclusions."
