List the Scandals of BushCo! (The news this week is only a continuation.)
"Why is this coming out NOW? Isn't the timing suspicious?" They ask...

Over the past four years, we've seen a continuous stream of scandals, tragic errors, and coverups. Beyond mere mistakes of judgment, there have been SERIOUS breaches of trust, misuse of taxpayer dollars, disregard for international law, etc. that cost Americans lives, limbs, and billions of dollars, with tragedy and debt that will saddle future generations for decades.

Even unexplained back humps, shortage of flu vaccine, and phony ads would have been considered major if it were a Democrat in office; and there'd have been plenty of ridicule for pretzel injuries, falling off bicycles and Marine One, constant verbal gaffes, etc...

Yet each time, BushCo and its compliant media have managed, miraculously, to turn shockers into yawns. What we're seeing this week is only a continuation -- the only difference is that they may not have the time to bury their blunders.

Let's list some of the outrages BushCo has managed to erase from the minds of Freepers. Off the top of my head:

- Ignoring counter-terrorism intel
- Creating phony translation of Bin Laden video to absolve Saudis
- Failing to translate key information on terrorism (Edmonds)
- Failing to devote full resources to capturing Bin Laden
- Diverting resources to Iraq
- Connection with long-term plans of PNAC
- Phony intelligence on Iraq
- Twenty-plus fake reasons for invading Iraq
- Enron, claiming not to know Ken Lay
- Enron, secret energy policy meetings
- Losing billions of defense appropriations
- Allowing Halliburton to keep several billion dollars unaccounted for
- Attacking Al Sadr then negotiating with Al Sadr then attacking Al Sadr...
- Removing detainees from Iraq counter to Geneva Conventions
- Detaining US citizens without charges and/or representation
- Lying about effect and cost of Medicare program
- Ostracizing truth-tellers including General Shinseki, Richard Clarke, Paul O'Neil, Joe Wilson, others...
- Outing Valerie Plame

So this week, it's failure to secure explosives, and more Halliburton. But this is hardly the first outrage of this administration --the outrage is how long the list is, how it keeps growing, how it's ignored, and how any one of these should be enough to give these clowns the heave-ho. Please add to the list!
