Flopsweat: Prager just said explosives are "WMD"........LMAO
Edited on Thu Oct-28-04 08:52 PM by Proud2BAmurkin
The conventional explosives are now AWOL's "WMD's".....

You know...the ones that were GUARDED by weapons inspectors who were then ORDERED TO LEAVE BY AWOL?

2. Even worse for Bush. We were told what they were and where they
were at. We chose to not secure them. Wow that really sounds bad.

3. Dammit, Sharpton.
There were so many ways to counter that and he just babbled.

He was even talking about Hans Blix...why didn't he say, "Well, Hans Blix was there and saw these weapons, why didn't HE say there were weapons of mass destruction?"

And then Prager says, "Why are these weapons important if they're not WMD?"

"Well, shit, Prager, they're killing our troops! DUH!"

6. That's not gonna work. If they WERE the WMD, wouldn't we have mentioned it
before? Before the invasion? Did anyone prominently mention high explosives along with nukes, chem & bio shit?

You can't go in saying we know they have WMD, not find any for a year and a half, let all this stuff get looted, and then say, Aha! That looted stuff - that was the WMD we were talking about! Because you weren't talking about HDX and DMX prior to the invasion. And if that was the WMD - why the fuck did you let it get looted? (And don't tell me the Russians swiped it before the invasion - the IAEA had it sealed before we made sure they got kicked out right before we went in.)

Are we the only people on the planet that can think straight?

7. Right, especially since we've destroyed 400,000 TONS of explosives
and "munitions"...

That was the other thing Sharpton should have said.

9. Maybe the only people in America that can think straight, tomfodw.
The rest of the world seems to be better informed.

10. If they were WMD, why wasn't the discovery
announced when US troops went through there in early April 2003? We have all kinds of reports that they were there, but no mention of WMDs.

what fucking idiots.

8. I think they are saying 'WMD' on purpose -
remember the intelligence of their base. Not too high. They'll want to grab on to the illusion that there were WMD there all along and the bad Democrats suppressed it.

11. 26,000 liters of anthrax, 38,000 liters of botulinum toxin, 500 tons of
sarin, mustard and VX nerve agent, 30,000 munitions...

So saith the White House website:

http://www.whitehouse.gov/response/disarm.html

Where does it say anything about conventional explosives?

15. HA! Then that will REALLY look like negligence! Nice try, tho!
They just haven't figured out a way to spin it. In other words, they have not thought it through.
Kinda like Guiliani saying it was the troops fault. They are grasping at straws.

17. that's even WORSE for Bushco: if they WERE WMDs then why weren't
they either guarded, confiscated or destroyed?

Now THAT's incompetence! And.... if that's the WMD definition, then how many OTHER countries do we have to invade on that basis that have stock of these lethal and common 'WMD's?

Man, that is WEAK.
