David Kay on CNN is kicking Shrub's ASS...He sounds so
Edited on Thu Oct-28-04 09:19 PM by steve2470
authoritative. Let the repugs call him a liar.

1- IAEA Seal is there.
2- There was explosives in there.
3- No reason not to secure Al Qaa Qaa immediately.
4- Game, set, match (his words) that the explosives were stolen
5- They were NOT WMD's
there was more but this is enough

7. Kay

Kay basically confirmed that it was an authentic IAEA seal and that he could think of nothing else those explosives could be besides the two mentioned as being in Al Qaqaa.

And, he did use game set & match as said above. Said soldiers had an obligation to guard the explosives once they broke the seal, but that they likely didn't know it was the 2 powerful explosives

6. I Can't Believe I EVER CALLED HIM A LACKEY!!!!!!!!
I swear, I take everything back I ever said about him. This guy has blown me away over the past few months. I'm floored. Really, really floored by this guy. He's got guts of steel; he's one of the bravest men I've ever seen. I'm not kidding. Think of what pressures he must be under. He's either one of the bravest men on the planet or an utter fool.

12. I opt for the "brave" part
Kay has an air about him of unimpeachable integrity. He also knows exactly what he is talking about. I'll catch the repeat at 1:00 am EDT.

9. Very definitive interview on several issues
Kay said definitely that was an IAEA lock.
Definitely it's HMX or RDX.
Definitely it was "you broke it you bought it" -- once opened, it needed to be guarded.

(Plus it was easy to open; should have been known such things would be there; is very dangerous esp. in hands of terrorists, but not "WMD")
