Cheney to campaign in HAWAII! |
|
cheney will campaign in hawaii sunday night, flying air force two there from new mexico, according to campaign officials...
the rally is scheduled for 11pm local time.
kerry's daughter alexandra will also go to hawaii on friday, speaking at a high school in farrington.
ha, this PROVES they're worried, and are scrounging for every last vote.

They can't possibly win Hawaii. Where's Leilani, we need some on-site intel. :)

It's just impossible for me to believe that Bush could be competitive. That would be like Kerry being truly competitive in Utah or something.
Maybe they really ARE desperate...

The long flight will be a strain on his health over and above the stress of the campaign and impending defeat; he will be up in the air for many hours, during which he can do no harm at all; and the effort is certain to be wasted in any case.

34. That is an optimistic appraisal, Magistrate |
|
But don't you find it disturbing that he has found cause to go there in the first place?
I was watching the polls and I could hardly believe my eyes. That state turned from dark blue to pink in about four days.
What the hell is going on out there? Was there a nationalist revolution or something? Any Hawaiians willing to shed a little light?

Cheney can't change any votes and will most likely send them our way.
They just want us to take our eye off the ball.

Seriously, though, there was a thread about this yesterday. Apparently, polls show it close in Hawaii. If Cheney's going off there, internal repug polls must be showing a surprise.
We need to send a few surrogates in there. How about Joe Biden and a couple of celebs from Hollywood?

They might take Hawaii and we might take NH, both have 4 EVs.
Someone told me on a thread a few days ago that they really love NCLB or something like that. Didn't make sense to me, but a few people have said that.

|
Edited on Thu Oct-28-04 10:07 PM by jor_mama
was that Cheney would be somehow trying to tout his daughter.
I realize that "we have a lesbian daughter, vote for me" is a stretch, but why the heck else would he bother going to HI at a time like this?
It seems like his time would be better spent campaigning in DC.
