My Stomach Hurts
I'm nervous. I'm really, really nervous about this election. I've seen a lot of posts from people who are really upbeat about this election. Please pass some of those good thoughts my way because I can't seem to shake the nasty feeling in the pit of my stomach that * is going to win.

I don't want to be drafted. I don't want to lose my healthcare. I don't want to lose my job. Please calm me down!

1. Zogby said Kerry will win on the Jon Stewart show. He is very,
very smart and almost always right on his predictions - I feel much better - I was a wreck before I heard this.

15. I am actually really optimistic for the first time today
the lost explosives in Iraq is horrible and makes me so angry at Bush --- but the political backlash , I thin, is the final nail in Bush's political coffin.

The worst "president" ever. Derelict in his duties. I am so happy he will go down as so crappy.

3. "Bees come down!"
That is a line from Larry Shue's The Foreigner. Very appropriate, however. Please calm down. Please.

4. Xanax helps.
in a legal, Doc approved script for anxiety kind of way. (as opposed to the Rush, snorting it for fun kind of way).

7. Oh, I've done my part.
I mailed in my early ballot two weeks ago. I even plan on canvassing this Saturday. But still, I can't shake this horrible feeling. Just nerves I guess.

6. Everything is breaking Kerry's way - 1.5 million new voter registrations
in the last 2 months - 85% of whom will vote for Kerry.

The margin of victory will be surprisingly large.

Rest assured Kerry will win.

8. Have you seen * this week?
he looks terrible, worse than ever. He sounds desperate and whiney. Kerry on the other hand looks confident and sure. Presidential. The * people are running scared. We have to turn out to vote and we will win.

12. Refocus on the GOTV efforrts...and forget the worry!
Kerry's team has all the votes we need to win....we just need to make sure those votes get to the polls...

Could this be any simpler??? NOOOO!!!!

The Kerry team have already identified all the voters that they need, that have expressed that they want to vote kerry.....

We just need to make sure everyone one of them vote....join the effort, if every one here just got 10 other people to the polls that would be 500,000 Kerry votes....we have to do all we can to:

GET OUT THE VOTE!

Please join the efforts, and you will sleep soundly on Tuesday night!

13. * got a slew of bad news today.
Wait a couple days, and maybe this weekend we'll see some more movement towards Kerry.

I'm nervous, too. But if we vote, we win. So get EVERYONE you know to vote Kerry.

17. Occupy yourself with the work of the campaign and you won't have time for
a stomachache. Seriously ...

I've been at Demo. HQ for days straight, and I have a very full weekend of lit-dropping and phone calling planned. Then I'm pollwatching at two different precincts on two different shifts for election day. So I won't have time to be worried ... I'll just know I'm doing everything I can within the limits of my strength. Which reminds me ... I have to go count out piles of literature to start going door to door tomorrow.

KEEP BUSY! GET OUT THE VOTE! DON'T FRET, JUST WORK WORK WORK!

18. Here's some positive energy for you. Visualize winning.
That's not to say that Tuesday and any subsequent lawsuits will be a cake walk. But if we can demonstrate a plausible Kerry lead, it will be much harder for the BFEE to make their case.

The key is that we must all stand up and cast our vote for a new direction under Kerry/Edwards as well as Democratic leadership in the House and the Senate.

Pick a mirror and visualize winning.
