Imus: "I'm voting for Senator Kerry, that's what I've decided to do, BUT..
...I'm going to get a clothes pin to put over my nose for when I go into the booth to vote for that clown."

"People ask if Kerry will be on the show if he's elected. The answer is I don't know, and I don't care. My existence on the planet does not need to be validated by John Kerry being a mensch...which he is NOT."

A very "bipolar" Imus this morning. He said "Kerry turned out to be right on the ammo thing...NOT THAT HE KNEW IT at the time..."

:scared:

PS: Yeah, I know...fuck Imus.

3. Simply stated, Imus is a pure capatilist, he plays both sides.....
Why be like Rush or Fox News, who only garner 50% of possible audience.
Makes more sense to play both sides for suckers and make more money, he could give a damn about America.

Its all about the money.

4. He also said,
that he believes that JK will be as vicious as he needs to be toward terrorists and protecting us and such. I believe that this needs to be said. Because I believe it.

6. Yes, Imus goes back and forth, that's the frustration...
He criticized people in the news media (and named Chris Matthews specifically) for "fawning all over themselves" when a George Bush or John Kerry "agrees to speak to them." He's right, Matthews is such a disgusting kiss-ass and suck-up that you KNOW he's never going to change.

So I have no problem with Don Imus being critical of Kerry in certain areas. I don't expect Imus to become his personal towel boy. But I DO have a problem when he goes into that surly, stoner-alcoholic-burnout-gnarly-old-man mode and fires personal attack after personal attack at Kerry, calling him a liar (as he did this morning when he mentioned Kerry saying that "in his memory" he had only run one Boston Marathon...who gives a rat's ass HOW many he's run? Imus did, and ranted).

Hell, George Bush was "selected" into office and everyone in a position of power AGREED with him, and singed up for his AGENDA, and that's how we got into the mess we're in. But if you are going to endorse a candidate there are appropriate and inappropriate ways to agree or disagree with the platform.

I dunno...I look at Don Imus and I see Val Kilmer near the end of the movie "Tombstone."

blood pressure would be too high for me to even function during the day.

Fuck Imus. Most sincerely. Fuck him.

8. AMEN!!!
FUCK IMUS!!

I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why DUers bother wasting precious brain cells watching that fucking tool. He figured out a while ago that he could bring in more viewers/listeners if there was some kind of built-in, daily, fake friction between him and 'da boys'.

Imus is nothing but a ratings whore, and his staff is a bunch of mouthbreathing, adolescent, penis waving fucksticks!!

10. You're right about the staff...
...all designed to make Imus look like the king. I think a lot of the insults and "infighting" are lifted from the Howard Stern playbook...too many instances of an "Angry Imus" yelling at his staff that bore too close of a resemblance to Stern yelling about his baked potato or some other such nonsense.

17. I also vote...
F?ck Imus, and with a forked blow torch, if there is such a damned thing! If not a forked blow torch, than maybe a wide mouthed coal shovel! Or perhaps Bill-Do's motorized, magnum, high compression, statue of St Peter, that Imus keeps gloating about! BTW, I'll bet Bill has got a Buzzzzzzzzzz on right now! Maybe Billy and Imus can exchange wind up rovebotic gerbils for christmass!

Edit} Pre-edited for good grammar and good taste!

11. I'd prefer that Imus endorse Bush
it's a case of "with friends like these"... just allows Kerry detractors to blast "even a John Kerry supporter like Don Imus says ..."

15. That's what I felt, he's not necessarily "helping" the cause...
...but Imus this morning is all about being belligerent and defiant and not CARING what Kerry thinks of him.

So that takes us down the Shakespeare road ("he protests too much")...anyone who spends so much time saying he doesn't care about Kerry "validating" him wants to BE VALIDATED BY HIM. Desperately.

13. Honest answer:
I had on "American Movie Classics" and was watching the grade-Z horror movie "Dr. Giggles." DirecTV lost AMC's signal...it just went to a black screen. So I grabbed the remote and started flipping and landed on MSNBC when Imus was playing some Kerry soundbites, so I just left it on.

So hopefully I just ducked an ass kicking.

20. It was at the point where he had just killed the other doctor...
...by wrapping the blood pressure monitor around his neck. DirectTV went blank...only on American Movie Classics...and came back eventually, but sad to say, "Dr. Giggles" was a total loss.

They do "heavily rotate" their movies on AMC, though, so I'll keep an eye out for its return.
