The Daily Show was absolutely killer last night. |
|
The big news, of course, is that Zogby was Jon's guess. And when asked, Zogby answered in no uncertain terms that Kerry was going to win the election. Did anyone else catch an eyeful of that? The crowd, understandably, went nuts.
Possibly the best part, though, was the clip they played of Bush's "Jump To Conclusions" comment, followed by about a straight minute of him jumping to conclusions about Iraq, from WMDs to al Qaeda.

5. It's repeated several times a day, |
|
I am not sure of the times. I usually watch it at 7 pm the following day because I can't stay up late. But it's also on a few times during the day, and many of the shows are available on the web site.

12. Not necessarily at 7:00 pm Eastern. |
|
I think they skip Fridays, and repeat the Thursday show at 7 pm Monday instead.

Once in about 7 minutes (they re-run at 10 AM) and then again at 7 PM as well.

7. I liked when Stewart played the bit about, if Kerry had been in charge... |
|
...Saddam would still be in power, probably giving all these (looted) explosives to terrorists.
Stewart then said something to the effect, isn't that what happened to them? Something like that, don't remember the exact line, but the audience went nuts.

13. Yes, that was a great bit. |
|
Bush said that Hussein "could" give those weapons to the terrorists. Jon looked at the camera as if he wanted to strangle someone and pointed out that that's EXACTLY what happened to them. The crowd went quite nuts on that point as well.

we need to play that on the national networks to remind these AHOLES with selective memories what he did...its so obvious..even in the tone of his voice way back then..he was scaring people into believing..and although pissed beyond belief now..I fell for it...i know better now..but some people still buy it...
