What's up with New Mexico? |
|
http://www.electoral-vote.com/states/new-mexico.html - Looked for a while like the state was going solid blue and now I haven't seen a single poll that has us even slightly ahead.

I'm in the southern part of the state which is very conservative (Las Cruces paper endorsed *)
I live in a small town & vibes here are mixed. I've been doing what I can to increase Kerry momentum.
Local papers are solidly right wing, so small town media isn't much help.
There are three giant Kerry billboards in town (* only has one). I know a lot of people who will be voting for Kerry, but I run with the liberal crowd in town.
There are a lot of fundie & freeper-types here... hard as hell to say, but I'm feeling positive right now.
Some of the people I would least expect (cowboys, etc.) have told me they can't stand *.

3. Clinton and Teresa have rallies in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Taos |

If they can fire up the Dems and undecided voters in the most populated areas, that will surely help bring along New Mexico.
