* just looks beaten and worn-out.

President Bush peers out of an Oval Office window the White House, Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, prior to leaving for a day of campaigning in New Hampshire and Ohio.

"It wasn't supposed to be like this! I was going to use the Rose Garden strategy because it was all wrapped up no matter who the Dems nominated! It's hard work! And I HATE hard work!"

5. Remember when Kerry was derided for having a long, somber face?
Bush looks tired and irritated. Guess the job of making one speech a day in front of adoring crowds is too much trouble for him.

6. unbelievably wan face there

There was also a picture of him boarding the helicopter where he looked about as downcast as can be, like he's thinking: "Hey, this is the last chopper ride I'll take from here and the Marine will actually still have to respect me."

He must've gotten some REALLY bad news this morning, anything from being told "it's over" to "Schilling won't be able to make it to Manchester."

Any thoughts?

7. Look at the lumps on his face.
His face has a lot of bumps on it. I'm not sure I've seen those before.

You're right: Bush looks worn out. These past 2 months were probably the most work Li'l Bushie has done in his entire presidency. And he doesn't look very happy about it, either.

A 3rd look at the photo: this is the REAL, unvarnished Bush. This is what he looks like, away from the camera, from the prying eyes, from the public. Just a hateful, cynical "holy" man.

9. But Karl, you said

I wasn't a loser like my daddy. Waaah.

Better enjoy the view Mr. Resident. You're moving out shortly.

Have I mentioned how much I hate these people?

10. Hey, come on, I know we can't stand the guy
but all of these comments about his appearance seem like cheap shots. Of course he looks tired and worn out -- most candidates would who keep up a rigorous campaign schedule. Even Kerry shows signs of fatigue now and then. Granted, Shrub has to work harder making his failures sound like successes, but still . . .

11. he looks worried
I'd have some sympathy if I thought for one second he was worried about the war or the American people.

He's worried about losing.

And its strictly ego since I don't think he liked the job.

12. "Who Can It Be Knocking At My Door?"
Who Can It Be Now is one of my favorite songs, and that would be my caption for this pic.
