A few minutes ago the cameraman zoomed in on the back of one of the reporters to show the "bulge" in his shirt.
LOL!

2. They're no saying the explosives were destroyed ... |
|
The tag underneath the speaker indicates the weapons were destroyed!!!! The special assistant to the secretary is talking but he's saying virtually NOTHING. He's saying they've destroyed an amount of material 1000 times more than at the Al-Qaqqa site.
They've learned. * Units arrived at the facility. He says they were met by Iraqi soldiers at the facility. What do the embedded guys say about this??? At least Saddam understood that you have to GUARD weapons caches!!!
* They learned that units were assigned to remove some of the weapons at the facility. They believe some of the weapons were destroyed. They believe that subsequent units were assigned to guard the facility.
* Maj. Austin Peterson, he was in the facility and said he was responsible for collecting some of these weapons. They're learning more by the day.
* Abordeen Proving ground - Advanced Ordinance Management. Maj Peterson was watching TV on the subject. He saw the NBC video and recognized the Al-Qaqa facility in April 03. He contacted chain of command, got in contact with defense intelligence agency.
* The chief of staff went over his recollection with him. Commander 44th Ordinance Company. His job was providing ammo for US. His additional missions was collecting enemy ordinance.
* Ordered by rear area operations center, assist 101st infantry at objective Elms. Elms encompasses the Al-Qaqa site. El-Qaqa site is encompassed by and earthen-concrete wall. The wall was breached at several points possibly by coalition forces.
* There job was to clear any ammo that posed danger to US forces. He says he had 9 pallet trucks. HE collected ammo from earthen covered magazines. He said he destroyed captured ammo classified as high priority.
* They consumed SOME of the Al-Qaqa ammo to destroy OTHER captured ammunition held at Dogwood.
* The remaining ammo was destroyed in a fire after Maj Peterson relinquished command of Dogwood to another unit!!!!
First thing I WANT are the military REPORTS!!!!! The IAEA only said that their was 380 tons of RDX and MRX that they were interested in. The facility was HUGE!!!! And Maj Peterson didn't talk about WHAT he pulled from the facility.
My understanding is that this IS NOT MILITARY!!! There should be documentation for EXACTLY what they removed from the facility and EXACTLY what was warehoused at Dogwood!!!!
