DU PAY ATTENTION: They are trying to cover up this story
Edited on Fri Oct-29-04 11:09 AM by AIndependentTexan
YOU ARE HELPING THEM TOO BY NOT BRINGING IT TO LIGHT. THIS STORY IS EVERYWHERE AND YOU ARE JUST IGNORING IT? WHY THE HELL ARE WE IGNORING A STORY SUCH AS THIS? I MEAN HELL THIS IS PROOF BUSH HAS MADE US UNSAFE AND NOW A IRAQ TERRIOST GROUP HAS THE EXPLOSIVES. IF YOU LET THIS COVER UP STICK THEN YOU ARE JUST AS BAD AS THE NEWS MEDIA. AT LEAST IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT FIND EVIDENCE AGAINST IT! GOD, WE REACT TO SUCH LITTLE THINGS AND NOW THAT WE HAVE A SMOKE AND GUN EVERYONE IS IGNORING IT. WHY DO YOU THINK THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO GET NEWS TODAY? REMEMBER THEY SAID BEFORE THAT RUSSIANS MOVED IT.

We have ran on less stuff. Why aren't we contacting the media about this?

13. Already posted on the CNN International site
 Point the other MSM to that site, I guess. CNN obviously refuses to cover it. Must not trust the International people they employ. :eyes:

7. Seriously.
I mean, we don't need people here to freak-out and run around in circles.

That solves nothing.

I'll be happy if DU proves it not true. Just as I will be happy if DU proves it true. This story of the missing explosives is really big and they will do anything to cover up everything about this story. Remember I'm still new too, but I just rather see us do something then not anything.

Also This is my first election to pay this much attention too. I'm only 23 and I'm male. I haven't had much experience, but maybe it is my youth and inexperience that is causing me to over react. I think I'll be on the edge till November 2nd. I'm trying to learn as we go, but the fear of a draft also has me on my last nerves because if these B'ST'RDS start one I'm at the age were I have the possibility of being drafted.

11. ok. glad you've subsided into upper & lower case, anyway. :)
But DU is packed with people who do stuff all the time. And there've been numerous threads on the explosives story since it broke. People here are going nuts over it.

What I like about it here is when people start a thread they: lay out the subject, provide a link to something that might add to our understanding, ask other DUers to help by doing something specific like write a LTTE or email an organization, and then they provide a link so we can do it. There's also that master list of media emails that you can download. I've never been so active until I came here.

I know we're all so edgy it makes our eyes cross. But this explosive story has legs and it's NOT going away.

14. Agreed. The story won't go away. They are laying the foundation now
and letting the public learn about the missing explosives. Next up will be the missing equipment and materials from Iraq's mothballed nuclear facilities.

15. that was what I was trying to do last night
Edited on Fri Oct-29-04 12:17 PM by AIndependentTexan
I posted a thread that I linked to in the post. I also posted different places that has the story. I guess my problem is I've been paying to much attention to DU. Yesterday I spent 11am to 4am looking at posts. I haven't been sleeping to well because of the election. Ironically when I do go to sleep I've had dreams of post in my dreams.

I know this means I need to take a break, but with the election so close I just can't pull myself away. I guess though this post was bond to happen sooner or later and I just snapped when I saw everything about the pentagon and a solider briefing. I thought maybe just maybe their were responses to the post I made last night. When I opened it up there weren't any responses that I didn't see before I went to bed.

One of the big reasons I posted the stories were because I didn't know if they were real or not. After that I guess my tinfoil hat went on overdrive. I made a connection that this pentagon story was being used to cover up the other story. I personally was just searching for answers. This was just my tinfoil hat over-racting big time because I thought nobody else saw the connections I did.

18. Tie this story to OBL
Hammer this on the media like you have NEVER hammered before!!

These are the facts:

Cheney said the other day that if John Kerry had his way, Saddam Hussein would still have these weapons -- and of course, the weapons would still be under UN lock and key.

Well, Bush GOT his way and now that we have PROOF that OBL is alive, the explosives may be in OSAMA's hands.

So is Bush saying it is better for Osama to have the explosives and be on the run where he can kill Americans than it is for Saddam to have the explosives and have them constantly being monitored by the U.N.?
