He still has Bush up 2--49-47, so he takes it that this will be the conclusion:

1) Kerry could have a good weekend and win narrowly (maybe win the electoral vote but not the popular vote)

2)Bush could have a good weekend and the GOP GOTV is very effective, so he could win a fairly comfortable victory--five plus points and 330 plus electoral votes.

3) or Bush could win narrowly

It doesn't occur to Rasmussen that Kerry could win big just as much as Bush could--and if turnout is high--maybe comfortably.

Oh well, it's good not to be too confident.

He had Bush winning by 9%
