Kudos to Major Pierson at the Pentagon Briefing
He is a brave man who did his job honorably and well in Iraq and continues to do so. Also Kudos the Pentagon official who is trying to be honest about the fact that he doesn't really know what happened.

And that's the bottom line. They don't know exactly what they took or WHERE THEY TOOK IT FROM!! Major Pierson didn't even know he was at Al Qa Qaaa (he called the area something else). He took some weapons (combination of tnt, plastic explosives, other hardware) from part of the area but didn't have the manpower to sweep the entire complex. He clearly did the best job he could, but clearly, Al Qa Qaa and other munitions sites were ripe for looting.

Shows a huge lack of planning and foresight at the highest levels. And, typically, they are leaving it to the Majors to clean up the mess.
