Rush just gave absentee instructions....
directed towards the military and their families. He did this on the hour that is broadcasted on armed forces radio. You can thank whoever put him on AFR, on our taxpayer money, I remind you. This guys needs to go!!

2. He's a little late, isn't he?
Don't absentee ballots need to be in the clerks' hands on Election Day?

5. Not military ballots.
Apparently, they can do damned near anything. Missing notarization, late postmark, whatever, and it still counts. Bush made sure of it in Florida in 2000.

20. They're still franked (post marked) even though they don't have postage.
I think the reason people don't know this is the residue of a lying, whoring press in 2000. They really lied about the law down in FL in an effort to help Bush. It surprises me that many Dems still don't know the law.

17. Actually, they need to be postmarked, but they don't have to have postage.
At least that's what the law was in FL in 2000, which Joementum conceded on national TV Gore wouldn't ask the courts to enforce even though the Gore team was going to ask courts to enforce that rule.

7. He mentioned...
something about downloaded a ballot on the net.

Connie, if you don't see the problem with this, I don't know what to tell you. For some reason, the military tends to vote overwhelmingly GOP. Thus, having Rush (who is on AFR, a taxpayer supported network) giving out instructions bothers me.

8. What did he say?
Unless he advocated doing something fraudulent, I can't imagine what your problem is. If he was, let's hear it.

And let's be clear about this: EVERYONE (every citizen) has the right to vote -- even if they vote other than what we'd prefer. It's the REPUGS who are into vote suppression, not Dems, just in case you need a reminder.

14. Uh..
no. The only people trying to suppress the vote are the Repugs. They are trying desperatley to stop minorities from voting, just like they did in 2000

24. And your problem with that is???
Edited on Fri Oct-29-04 01:19 PM by kayell
Did he advocate something illegal, unethical or immoral?

Did he give incorrect instructions?

Democrats don't do vote suppression as many others here have told you. I'm still waiting to hear what you object to about encouraging people to vote?

(ick, I can't believe I'm supporting Rush, but your complaint doesn't seem to have any real basis. Does tend to make me wonder about your motives)

Course I have to give you some credit: It must be awfully hard on the nerves being an Islamic biker from NC in the "United Facists States of America", who wants to hang all the capitalists. :eyes:
