You realize that when Voters go to Vote November 2nd
All they will remember is everything negative about Bush because we controlled the media this week and put them on the defensive.

1. You know what is really beautiful about all of this?
It is Friday before the election and the media stories are all anti-administration.

The Sunday talk shows will focus on the negatives of this week and Kerry's momentum.

Nobody will pay attention to positive Bush stories this weekend because it is Halloween and people are sick of the campaigning.

The undecideds will have their minds made up on Monday in time to vote on Tuesday.

Bush can only overcome this serious downturn if there is a terrorist attack or John Kerry is caught in drag.

2. I honestly believe a terror attack would piss the electorate off big time

3. I agree. I have never understood why some people believe that another
terrorist attack on shrub's watch would help him.

4. This is going to sound paranoid, but
it is still something that bothers me.

A bunch of the (dreaded) polls have all shown that people feel * is stronger on defense of the country, war on terror etc. Where as these polls are taken at the secondary question after being asked who they will vote for, some of them are Kerry supporters. I will refer to these individuals as "those people"

My fear is that at that moment when "those people" are casting their vote, all of the "terror terror terror" thoughts come to mind. Even though they support Kerry, they have heard his postion, they know he is the better man, they will let their fear dictate a vote and not the right one.

Maybe it is just all the anxiety, but it does concern me.

8. failure failure failure
beats terror, terror, terror. People will trust their gut on Tuesday and know Bush has failed, on what he said was the reason to vote for him, being a "war President".

9. You have posted the great hope of the Freepers
Not that I'm saying you're a freeper. Just that you captured what they are hoping will save them.

I don't believe it myself. I think most people other than the hardcore Bushies are all terrorized out. Too much wolf crying.

I do find it amazing though the stupidity and ignorance that is required to believe Bush is anything but a fuck up on Security.

He refuses to take a tough stand with the Saudis, so Saudi terrorists know there will be no reprisal against their homeland no matter what they do.

He created a whole new rallying platform for the terrorists, the Iraq invasion, which inspired the Madrid train bombings and has bolstered terrorist recruiting worldwide.

He didn't follow through in Afghanistan and West Pakistan letting the key elements of Al Qaeda escape and let the Taliban reorganize.

He did nothing to push forward the Middle East Peace “roadmap” to address what used to be the main underlying recruitment issue for the terrorists.

And now Americans are dieing every day at the hands of what * calls terrorists. Note this Americans are just as dead and just as American if they die in Iraq or New York. That "we are fighting them over there" stuff is complete bullshit.

10. I know that is the "hope"
of the neocons.

As I said, maybe it is the anxiety of this last month, maybe it is the mom in me (we are inherently worriers). Or maybe I am just losing it. ;-)

But one thing I know for a fact, no one can control how people vote. The people that are going to make or break this election (IMO)are the so called "swing" or "undecided" voters. They may be leaning one way or the other (mostly toward the right choice), but not committed to anyone. It is my belief (fear, paranoia, near aneurism) that those are the people that will be the easiest swayed by the "vote for * or terrorists will kill you" campaign.

We can only hope for thoughtful decisions by "those people".
