and make it your fun and your duty to be around the precincts to assist with people who are impatient due to lines. make sure you encourage people who are likely to be disenfranchised to buck up and serve America.

Let's take this thing home...and get Kerry in there officially. It's all over but Bush crying--oh wait. late breaking news...Bush ad with him crying now released--ok. it's over.

ON EDIT: YOu know...how after 9/11 all of us wanted to do SOMETHING....and that mostly translated to giving blood and donating to charities supporting those hurt by disaster?

Well, our country of volunteer spirit wants to do SOMETHING during these crazy times. We've not been asked to sacrifice. We patriots on the left side of the aisle need to show our patriotism by voting and encouraging others to vote.

Probably the MOST patriotic thing a person could do is attempt to interfere with another person's right to vote. Spread that message. We dems are the real patriots in this country who still really trust Democracy.

3. Get to the polls as early as you can!
Early morning, if possible. Early afternoon, at the latest.

Then you can go home for the rest of the night without having to worry.

5. Then help other people vote
Bring water, snacks, lawn chairs, etc to the polls. Give rides. Make sure every single person you know has voted. When you get up on Nov 3, make sure you can look yourself in the eye and say "I did every single thing I could do."

6. I wish I lived in a swing state
I would go out and twist balloons and do close-up magic to entertain people just to keep them in line. Oklahoma is going Bush for sure, and we'll probably elect DINO Brad Carson, who is still better than crazy-man Tom Coburn.
