Seriously, why do you keep watching FOX NEWS?
Edited on Fri Oct-29-04 02:33 PM by Paragon
It's not for you, ya numbskull!

It'd be like if I watched Lifetime a lot...or, for that matter, HGTV. :silly:

P.S. - Anyone responding with some knuckleheaded variation of "keep your enemies close" or the like immediately forfeits and must go sit in the corner.

1. I don't....in fact, I programmed it out of my channel list.
So I don't accidently flash across Hannity's ugly vile visage and ruin my dinner or scare my cats.

2. It's the spawning ground for lies. Watching is like being a CSI.

13. Hi John...
Watching the Wheels
John Lennon

People say I'm crazy doing what I'm doing,
Well they give me all kinds of warnings to save me from ruin,
When I say that I'm o.k. they look at me kind of strange,
Surely your not happy now you no longer play the game,

People say I'm lazy dreaming my life away,
Well they give me all kinds of advice designed to enlighten me,
When I tell that I'm doing Fine watching shadows on the wall,
Don't you miss the big time boy you're no longer on the ball?

I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round,
I really love to watch them roll,
No longer riding on the merry-go-round,
I just had to let it go,

People asking questions lost in confusion,
Well I tell them there's no problem,
Only solutions,
Well they shake their heads and they look at me as if I've lost my mind,
I tell them there's no hurry...
I'm just sitting here doing time,

I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round,
I really love to watch them roll,
No longer riding on the merry-go-round,
I just had to let it go.

there's just a fascination about glib corporate lying.

10. Nothing against HGTV or The Food Network.
Just saying the notion of a slob like myself watching either channel is like a good Democrat watching Fox News.

11. I know you were just kidding....
so was I. I guess you've noticed all the posts on DU(especially lately and frequently by new Duers) where people refer to fox....sort of makes me wonder, if you know what I mean.

12. Are you kidding? Its like watching old WWF- U know its Fixed, but its fun
just think baron miquel sicluna reaching into his trunks for the roll of quarters everytime a Fox newsguy or analyst makes a blatently false or biased statement supporting the prez.

then us complaining and screaming is the equivilent of the fans trying to alert the referee (that would be the mainstream press).

the referee (mainstream press) makes like he doesnt see anything wrong, and sicluna smashes Bruno Sanmartino across the head with the illegal roll of quarters.

But then, in the end, Sanmartino ALWAYS wins.

I need a hobby.

15. It is sorta fun because the lies and spins are so apparent....
What's scary though is that some watch and gulp that bullshit down like it was a religion.I don't understand how anybody could take it seriously.Or for that matter how anybody could take anybody seriously that is a Fax Newz fan.

14. what's fox news?
j/k...i occasionally flip past it on the tv remote, but i don't watch much television at all, unless you consider cartoon network or foodtv.

i recall seeing campaign ads for plank, but i still plan on voting for kerry.
