Kerry senior adviser was on MSNBC - Kerry to issue statement
Edited on Fri Oct-29-04 03:54 PM by Jersey Devil
The advisor said Kerry will not let OBL "divide the nation". Kerry's message to obl, al qaeda and all terrorists is, "We will come after you, we will get you, we will destroy your organizations."
"We will not let the American people live in fear" - I hope that was an accurate quote

Because that would be playing politics with terra
and we'll let the other side have the monopoly on that disreputable practice.

3. Let's see what he says before we start slamming Kerry.
jeez. The advisor was just giving some HINTS about what he would say. I'm sure it will be resounding. They've been preparing for this one.

5. No... here is a place NOT to slam
The last thing Kerry wants is for him to be seen as politicizing this. His approach needs to focus national unity in the face of an imminent threat.

That is not only good political sense, it's good policy.

12. i couldn't disagree MORE!
this is the perfect example to showcase bush's number one failure, of not capturing obl.

if this is all of his statement, he's a fool.

6. Take the high road for now - Bush already took the low road
I have read (don't remember where) Bush said, "I guess Osama doesn't want me re-elected." If that is confirmed then * has made 9/11 a political issue, not Kerry and Kerry can chastise him for doing so.
