Facts are facts. Look at the facts of the OBL tape
1) This proves Osama bin Laden is NOT working for Bush. Osama bin Laden is a private entity working for his own interests. Sorry if this pisses off some of the tinfoil hatters, but that's an undeniable fact. Were he working for Bush, this tape would never have been released today.

2) Bush had the opportunity to get OBL. He failed.

3) OBL is free to taunt Americans. This is not good news for Bush, OR Kerry. IF Kerry is elected, this is just another fine mess Bush has gotten us into that Kerry will have to clean up.

4) This tape is irrefutable evidence that going into Iraq has harmed our efforts against terrorism

Any more facts that anybody can think of?

7. And that now has me super pissed off at Bush
Bush made us look like fools in the eyes of the world on the Friday before the election.

Bush is responsible for this man still being out there making his fucked up threat. I want the motherfucker's head on a platter. I want him dead and beheaded and his head stuck on a stick for other motherfuckers like him to know we mean business.

Instead, pretzleneck goes off to fight his daddy's bad man and takes his eyes off the prize!

:grr:

1. Trot out this tape
2. Come up with OBL on Monday because "traced the tape" and found him

Hmmm, interesting idea.

Kerry On!

I'm hoping she's just got the tinfoil on too tight. Methinks she gives these incompetent boobs way too much credit.

4. Well, the fact that it wasn't Osama, and that whoever it was was right

US security is in the hands of the people who pay their money to implement US policies, which policies include quite a bit of murder, torture, starvation, maiming and child rape.

of the actor who starred in yesterday's production, but in the larger scheme of things, the choice of on-camera talent means very little.

If that was the Unity Op, I am glad it was bloodless. It was certainly effective.

On edit, there is, of course, a 99.9% chance that we are talking about different discomforting realities, but under the circumstances, that hardly matters.

8. If that were so, there would have been a tape two weeks ago
and it would have been bad for Kerry.

This tape is the final nail in the Bush Administration's coffin. I wish it was not bin Laden hammering the last nail in and that just pisses me off even more at the bastards to have let things get so bad in the global war on terror that the number one person on the most wanted list taunts us from afar the Friday before the election.

9. All roads lead to Israel and Palestine. OBL doesn't need Bush
for a reason to mess with the west. The entire Israeli-Arab region is a terrorist's dream. The west has had it's finger in a very large pie for decades and hey, guess what? Not everybody loves Americans for it.

6. Well, flame me if you will
but I think that that dirty murderer is telling the truth in this instance ... what provoked the attack was our meddling in the ME and supporting Israel. I'm not saying that we should not have done or do those things, just that this is the real reason why.

Other than that, I'm really just amazed that he's alive. I was in the "obl is dead" camp all year.

31. That is the truth and no one should flame you for it.
I don't know what the answer is to the Israeli-Palestinian problem, but I think the only reason we prop up Isreal is not our Jewish population, but because it's a foothold in the region so we can control the oil supply.

I shouldn't brag here, but I was positive he was still alive.I don't think the Bush admin ever made any effort to go after OBL - I think they just made a big show.

11. Maybe he just wants to stir an already agitated situation.
Maybe he's just felt like throwing a grenade into our election process not really giving a shit about helping either side.

When Kerry is elected, I do hope he goes after OBL full throttle....but I want him captured alive. We realy need to try this bastard as the megalomaniac that he is.

Very interesting, too. Didn't he say right after 9/11 that he had nothing to do with it? Now he admits he did?

14. OBL isn't gonna do jack to the election result

If anyone switches to vote for Bush, it will be balanced by people switching to Kerry and the undecideds now firmly in Kerry's camp.

The young and minority GOTV movement could care less about OBL.

Also, Bush is on the DEFENSE yet again.

33. Thought about this a lot .
More than him not responding quickly to 9/11 was his face ....He looked as is he heard the words "the plan has begun" he nodded his head and kept reading. Why wasn't he shocked? It was more an "unfortunate sacrifice"expression.I have heard him lie about why we had to go into Iraq over and over . Each lie a little flimsier. Why didn't he care what happened to Bin Laden? This is major deception. Maybe we will learn that it was more of a plan than a evil attack.

18. I disagree with #1
OBL is on the CIA's payroll and the CIA is mega pissed at this Administration. They made a point of having OBL refer to "My Pet Goat" to make the Oaf-In-Chief look foolish, just as he's made the CIA look these past years. This latest tape is CIA-inspired-instant-karma-payback that couldn't have been better timed.....this weekend is just long enough for it to fester below the surface and remain fresh in Undecided's minds as they head to the polls.

Who Is Osama Bin Laden?
http://www.globalresearch.ca/articles/CHO109C.html

Saudi born Osama bin Laden was recruited during the Soviet-Afghan war "ironically under the auspices of the CIA, to fight Soviet invaders". 1

23. The Article Really Adds Nothing Of Worth, Sir
Edited on Sat Oct-30-04 02:47 AM by The Magistrate
It lacks conspicuously any sense of scale and local realities.

To describe a trade worth a mere five hundred billions, which is certainly an exaggerated figure, as crucial in world economic terms is nonesense. That is mere pocket change in compare with aggregate global economic activity and capital values. Remember always that it is greatly in the interest of drug enforcement agencies to exaggerate the scale of their chosen fiefs, as a means of maintaining their own power and budgets.

Russia does not seem to be having much difficulty exporting oil nowadays, and the idea that the barbarous war in Chechnya is causing them any difficulty in that direction, to anyone's particular benefit, has no sound foundation. There are much deeper and older reasons of nationalism and cultural clash that fuel that bloody business.

The idea that the C.I.A. controls Pakistan's I.S.I. is a real knee-slapper, that establishes the man who writes it as a person who understands nothing. That organization is beholden to none, though it will make use of any it can, and is not even under its own control in many important respects. Bin Laden is similarly a rogue element all his own, and the idea that because he has been of use to the I.S.I., and made his own use of that association, he can be described as somehow under control of the C.I.A. is simply too rich for words.

28. You're probably right but...
...the bu$h campaign doesn't seem to mind OBL 'helping' them (not saying the OBL is helping them but the bu$histas seem to think so).

They're revelling it it. It's just sick. But I have to agree that OBL is in business for himself and he saw this as an opportune time to get the attn of the American ppl. The State Dept. did, after all, try to stop the video from being shown...

Personally I don't think his appearance will be a boon to either campaign. People's minds are pretty well made up already. IM personal O, it makes GWB look bad because the cretin is still out there. But I'm a Kerry supporter so....that's my bias.

32. So if OBL isn't working for Bush
what is the continued source of his funding?

Wasn't Bush supposed to cut off all of his sources? I don't think much ever came of that idea.

I don't think any works directly for anyone else. The don never tells anyone to kill someone else. It's more of a wink and a nod short of deal. Same here. OBL is allowed to exist because the PNACers need bad guys. It's how they earn their living and stuff their pockets with more and more money.
