Did bin Laden "out" Bush for LIHOP???
"I never thought that the supreme leader would leave 50,000 of his people in the two towers to face the terrifying events alone at the time they were in need for him."

Almost sounds like he is trying to suggest that he warned BushCo and he never imagined Bush wouldn't eveacuate the buildings?

Or am I reading too much into this translated snip (I haven't seen the video).

1. No, Lihop is something mentally ill people believe
and something that lends itself to the sucess of the right when it is associated with the left. Bin Laden is a murderous assrag who doesn't give insight into anything other than the fact that he's a murderous assrag

4. Excuse me?
There's enough fishy things surrounding the events of that day for the most level-headed person to raise an eyebrow. The NORAD stuff alone is damning.

6. Mentally ill? Nice - really nice.
I've had a fucking lousy day. Had one of my 4th graders threaten suicide this morning (already had planned it), got cornered by not one but two republican bitches at school about me being a "traitor" for supporting Kerry, and now this. I'm ready for this shit day to end.

11. I'd agree with that. LIHOP != MIHOP
Edited on Fri Oct-29-04 05:05 PM by zaj
... both are hard to believe.

But LIHOP isn't as hard when you find out from Bush's personal ghost writer (from his autobiography), that Bush planned to start a war in order to gain political power that comes from being a "War President" and then to abuse that power in ways his father refused to...

http://www.guerrillanews.com/articles/article.php?id=761

“(Bush) was thinking about invading Iraq in 1999,” said author and journalist Mickey Herskowitz. “It was on his mind. He said to me: ‘One of the keys to being seen as a great leader is to be seen as a commander-in-chief.’ And he said, ‘My father had all this political capital built up when he drove the Iraqis out of Kuwait and he wasted it.’ He said, ‘If I have a chance to invade….if I had that much capital, I’m not going to waste it. I’m going to get everything passed that I want to get passed and I’m going to have a successful presidency.”

20. I believe they LIHOP and I am perfectly sane

The facts favoring LIHOP -- on the part of at least some parties in the defense or intelligence community -- are overwhelming. I'm a highly educated person (PhD in a science field). I live in New York. I was here on 9/11. I smelled the towers burning and saw the smoke. I feared for my child. I lost people I knew. I was willing to give the administration -- which I already hated -- the benefit of the doubt at first, but even filtering out some of the nuttier stuff, I have come to believe LIHOP is a perfectly reasonable Occam's razor explanation for why 9/11 happened.

This is an administration that thinks nothing of stealing a national election, waging war and killing thousands for profit and political gain, imprisoning and torturing people and suspending due process, gaming the courts and the regulatory processes to the benefit of their corporate friends, and worse. They are evidently utterly cynical and unprincipled people. They are the heirs of the ones who supported death squads in Central America, anti-communist witch hunts, atrocities in Vietnam, and business dealings with the Nazis.

It is easier to look away when evil is staring you in the face. I choose to look right at it. They let it happen on purpose, at a minimum. I'd need to see a whole different set of hitherto unrevealed facts to be convinced otherwise.

2. I don't think so
I think all he is saying that he was surprised that smirky did not immediately jump up and become active when he heard the towers had been struck, but just sat there for 7 minutes, and then hid out for hours before returning to DC.

14. Yes - bin Laden does effectively out Bush's massive failure on 9/11
There is no doubt about it.

But will the mass media pay this aspect any attention? They have proved themselves biased and flaccid so far. They have a real problem exploring the truth. 1984 is here.

But neo-con spinmeisters trying to fob the "blame" for this outing on Michael Moore's film, won't work. Bush and The Pet Goat is a tar baby. The more the Repubs talk about it, or try to get rid of it, the more the truth sticks.

19. My new (it ain't that new but anyhoo) theory-Let Him Live On Purpose
LHLOP-Cause how can you have a war with no bad guy?

I continue to find it suspicious (and then there's the mind bogling incompetence) that the best trained military in the world couldn't get this one guy. Would there be a stand down order on Bin Laden or something? All I know is-here he is, and looking no worse for wear.
