Use Your Heads: Bin Laden Wants Bush Re elected |
|
He knows this guy is incompetent, after all, he escaped from him and has been living for three years INCREASING the membership of Al Queda, feeding off of the hatred Bushco has stirred up in the Middle East.
Another four years of Bush means another four years of major recruitment and publicity for AL Queda, with NO DOWNSIDE. They get a lot of free publicity and they don't get caught.
Bush being re elected is a win/win for Bin Laden. And he knows that if he makes a video and says threatening things, that it probably helps Bush. They desperately want Bush re elected. He is their whipping boy.

1. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU |
|
THAT'S THE ARGUMENT. IF HE WANTED TO HURT BUSH, HE WOULD NOT BE CAUSING AN EVENT THAT HAS CONSISTENTLY GIVEN BUSH A BOUNCE IN THE POLLS (TERROR THREAT ETC).

13. As Our Enemy, OBL would only Want the Weaker Man In Power |
|
Our stupid electorate, they need our enemy to confirm what we have been telling them for months.
Big Question: Will this damning proof change any votes?

OBL wants a major confrontation, a global holy war if he can get it - he knows Bush wants to fight in the Middle East, and that Kerry does not

4. I don't see how this helps the chimp. |
|
 It only emphasizes his incompetence. If I were undecided, this would have made up my mind for me.

You're absolutely right. Bin Laden wants Bush back in office. Bush is the greatest thing to happen to Al Qaeda.

8. Bin Laden wants Bush elected because .... |
|
he sees this as a clash of religions and Bush wears his on his sleeve. There's more similarities between Chimpy and Bin Laden than there are differences.Bin Laden views The Evil Chimp as his Arch Nemesis. The fight wouldn't be the same without him ...

12. bin Laden is a subtle enemy |
|
However vicious his crimes against us, it is false to claim that he is a cartoon villain.
Bush has been clumsy and ridiculous in retaliating against him. bin Laden knows that. I would go so far as to suggest it astonishes him. All the talk about "not abandoning our resolve like in Viet Nam" is pure balony -- sorry, George. Sadly, Bush's misunderstanding of the situation and bungling of the response and the Iraq war has made Al Qaeda and its cause more popular than ever.
All that Texas bullshit is just that -- pure bullshit.
Here's an old joke: how do you bury a 6'7" 260 lb Texan? Answer: give him an enema and bury him in a shoebox.
I am sick to death of Bush's stupid bluster and Texas talk. The truth is, he has been totally ineffective in responding to Sept 11. He can lie all he wants about it, and we can **pretend** he's done a great job, or that all of this is eventually going to work out, but it ain't.
Bush is no brain box. If he only waged as vicious a campaign against OBL than he did JFK, we wouldn't be watching the former on telly today. Bush is just an idiotic poker player. OBL is playing chess. Bush doesn't understand chess. JFK does. I think Kerry has the honesty and the subtlety of mind to catch OBL -- I think that's what its going to take. That is a heart-felt endorsement of Senator Kerry.

14. They need each other badly. |
|
OBL and 9/11 were gifts to Bush and his PNAC cohorts. His approvals were tanking from unauguration till 9/11. So he not only was able to define himself as a war president and get the bounce, PNAC dreams were realized in the process. And don't forget that even if Bush goes down in flames next week, these guys will have already gotten a lot of what they wanted out of the presidency.
Just as obviously, Bush has been great for OBL, fullfilling OBL's prediction that US would invade a Muslim country.
They were made for each other.

15. Once the initial media reaction wears off |

This will probably change the equation very little. But smarter voters will understand that this was a crafty ploy by Bin Laden to give a boost to Bush's flagging campaign.
