Maybe it's because I live in the heart of Republican Red America, but I am getting more nervous every day.

I don't know what to do. I got so mad last time, but just spun my wheels and could do nothing.

What am I going to do when they steal it this time? Part of me is already saying "calm down, there's nothing you can do anyway so don't get so worked up." Another part wants to order that "Go Fuck Yourself" -- Dick Cheney shirt advertised in the back of the Nation, drive to Ohio or Florida and get in deep enough to make a change or get arrested or both.

But I'm too established for that stuff now. A man with a wife, house, and kids makes for a poor rioter. I guess I'll just write a letter to the paper, then just check out for a while because it's just not worth the angst.

if you think there are no liberals in Texas you need to get out of the house more. We registered literally hundreds of thousands of new voters here in Texas this year. Turnout is the highest EVER. Texas is in play no matter what you hear from the pundits.

I'm not a troll, I'm just living in a solid red state (Kansas) and I'm hearing one story from the media, another here and then there are all the rumors....It's just scary. And I'm a mommy with a house and kids and I'm the major breadwinner for my family. As much as I'd like to raise hell if they try to steal the election again...I can't do much more than civil disobedience because I have a responsibility to my family, as well as to my country.
