7. You're absolutely right, plastic_turkeys !
This reminds people of who attacked us on 9/11....and it reminds them also of the disaster in Iraq. However, it does change the subject. Few are talking about the missing explosives. In that regard, the Bush campaign is happy. They will attempt to spin this as some type of positive for themselves, although I'm trying to fathom how they will do that?? Other than saying that we need George Bush to catch such evil people as Osama bin Laden, rather than John Kerry, I cannot think of another way for them to spin this?? But, it did change the subject and they wanted that...

2. SPIN IT BACK
Cheney said the other day that if John Kerry had his way, Saddam Hussein would still have these weapons -- and of course, the weapons would still be under UN lock and key.

Well, Bush GOT his way and now that we have PROOF that OBL is alive, the explosives may be in OSAMA's hands.

So is Bush saying it is better for Osama to have the explosives and be on the run where he can kill Americans than it is for Saddam to have the explosives and have them constantly being monitored by the U.N.?

3. Shouldn't it be the opposite
I mean if obl is still out there and making videos and looking all pretty for the world to see, isn't someone not doing their job? What happened to "We'll smoke'em out of their holes" or "Wanted: Dead or alive". Instead, a 15 min tape is supposed to show the American people what a great job their "herd werking employee" has done for them? Doesn't seem logical.

5. not even close........
I would like everyone to ease up and smell some coffee. I just heard NPR's report and it strikes me that it makes Bush look worse.....how do you spin it otherwise? Let's stop repeating this nonsense.

6. As has been repeatedly pointed out today...

...it EMPHASIZES it.

We have missing explosives the administration failed to properly secruse and we have a terrorist the administration failed to properly pursue still on the loose and in good health.

And if those two things combine NOBODY can fail to see how badly the administration has screwed up on the safety issue... just connect the dots for them by pointing it out!

10. Most people I have talked to have been indifferent about the tape.
Their attitudes have been that it is just another tape from the damn terrorists. They have lost track of all the tapes and don't care. They just want bin Laden captured or killed.
