I have not been this politically motivated and inspired in 30 years. Watergate, Nixon, etc. turned me terminally off to politics. I thought, aw hell, all politicos are corrupt and out for power and money, etc. I tuned out, for the most part, for 30 years. Well, Democrats, I am back now and ready to do my part, as little as it may be. It is so refreshing to see all of you who truly care about OUR country and who are so idealistic. God/Higher Power/Cosmos bless you.

Although always liberal, and always voting grudgingly, I too was politically "out in the cold" for most of the late 1970s, and all of the 1980s.

There's been too much sleeping at the switch, as the right wing is now threatening to turn our country (and the world) into cinders.
And that's just not gonna happen!!! :grr:
