Bin Laden Resurfacing Highlights The Folly and Failure Of Iraq Policy |
|
Most undecideds, if there are any left, are going to think about this the next three days and wonder why the guy who ATTACKED us is still out there and why we've just spent 200 billion dollars going after a country that DID NOT attack us.
Bin Laden's re emergence highlights EXACTLY Bush's dillemma. The initial talking head reaction will be that this may benefit Bush by bringing up the terror card. But the longer term reaction to this is trumped by the reality: Bush failed in his mission to avenge our country. At long last, despite all the bravado, all the talk, all the false appeals to patriotism: HE DID NOT GET THE BAD GUY.
Game, set, match.

2. Not only did he NOT GET THE BAD GUY... |
|
The actual bad guy just confessed for the first time that HE did 9/11. Which means Saddam didn't. So ya think maybe that brain-dead 45% might actually wise up? Maybe that's too much to hope for... but the point we've got to emphasize is that the evil sonofabitch who did 9/11 is still on the loose after 3 years and Bush wasted time, money and lives going after a low-life thug who wasn't a threat to us.

4. Right, but OBL is in addition healthy, using good production values, |
|
taking the time to give us a little understanding of where he is coming from/
Bush hasn't just failed to catch him. Bush isn't even causing him to lose sleep. What a failure.
